Wild Harvest — A Tradition of Stewardship
Our Centella Asiatica is 100% wild-harvested from the mountain regions of Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou. We work through a trusted network of local collectors and herbal distributors who have harvested these plants for generations.
Why wild harvest?
Wild-grown Centella Asiatica develops richer bioactive profiles under natural conditions. By sourcing from existing wild populations rather than monoculture plantations, we help preserve genetic diversity and reduce land-use pressure.
Community partnership
We partner with local collectors to ensure fair trade practices, stable income, and the continuation of traditional harvesting knowledge. Our supply chain supports rural livelihoods while maintaining strict quality and traceability standards.
COSMOS Certified — For Natural and Organic Cosmetics
Our Centella Asiatica extracts are COSMOS-certified, meeting the highest international standards for natural and organic cosmetic ingredients. This certification ensures: Use of certified organic raw materials Environmentally responsible manufacturing No GMO, parabens, or controversial chemicals Full supply chain transparency For cosmetic brands seeking natural formulations, our COSMOS-certified extracts provide the traceability and integrity your products require.
Responsible Manufacturing — Balancing Efficacy and Ecology
We first use a water-based extraction method to isolate the active compounds from Centella Asiatica, followed by the use of various concentrations of ethanol for the extraction of key bioactive ingredients. Our production process uses bio-based ethanol derived from sugarcane molasses fermentation — a renewable, plant-based resource rather than fossil-derived solvents. We believe in transparency: ethanol is an industry standard for many potent herbal extracts, but our choice of source makes the difference.
Why sugarcane molasses ethanol?
Sugarcane is a fast-renewable biomass. Molasses, a byproduct of sugar production, would otherwise go to waste. By using it as our solvent source, we turn an agricultural co-product into a valuable resource — reducing reliance on petrochemicals and supporting a circular bioeconomy.
Our commitment to responsible manufacturing includes
Renewable Solvent Source: We prioritize bio-based ethanol over fossil-derived alternatives like hexane or ethyl acetate, making our process inherently lower in carbon footprint.
Closed-Loop Recycling: We utilize advanced recovery systems to capture and reuse ethanol, significantly reducing VOC emissions and overall solvent consumption — Our ethanol recovery and waste management practices are certified under ISO 14001. Stringent Removal Process: Our production line is specifically designed to remove residual solvents. Final extracts are rigorously tested to meet global pharmacopoeia (e.g., USP, EP) and cosmetic safety standards.
Traceability — From Field to Final Product
We maintain full traceability across our supply chain. Each batch of raw material can be traced back to collection regions and harvest periods, ensuring accountability and allowing customers to verify sourcing claims.
Our traceability system includes:
Supplier documentation and verification
Batch-level tracking
Third-party audit trails
Certification continuity from raw material to extract
Looking Forward
Sustainability is not a static goal — it is an ongoing commitment. We continue to:
Expand certified organic sourcing partnerships
Reduce water and energy intensity per production unit
Support biodiversity monitoring in harvesting regions
Provide full transparency to our customers
